The EDEN alternative concept<\/strong> is generally used primarily in residential care facilities to improve the lives of residents by creating a communal and liveable environment. However, elements of the EDEN approach can also be used in the extramural sector, i.e. in home care and for clients who have 24-hour care at home.

Combating the \"plagues\"<\/strong>Avoiding loneliness, helplessness and boredom can also be implemented in the home environment. Caregivers can involve the client in social activities, hobbies or regular tasks to promote a sense of purpose and participation.
